POST-OP REHABILITATION

For seniors who need to recovery and regain independence after surgery

Service Description

Post-op rehabilitation at home refers to the process of recovering from surgery with the assistance of rehabilitation exercises, care, and support within the home environment. This type of rehabilitation is designed to help individuals regain strength, mobility, and functionality after surgical procedures such as total knee replacement (TKR), total hip replacement (THR), ORIF, rotator cuff surgery, tendon and ligament repairs, knee arthroscopies like meniscus repair, and spinal surgeries. It often involves a combination of tailored exercises to improve muscle strength, joint flexibility, and overall mobility. Depending on the type of surgery, individuals may use assistive devices like crutches, walkers, or braces to aid in the recovery process. Physical therapists might utilize manual techniques to manage post-surgical pain.
